Let the house take the stage at night.
Lighting that shows off the shape, materials and character of your home: gables, columns, rooflines, chimneys, brick and stone, softly and without glare.
- Techniques: Washing, grazing, uplighting and downlighting
- Fixtures: Shielded LED fixtures in warm white
- Placement: Hidden in beds, on walls and under eaves

What it is, and why it matters.
A house has a face after dark just as it does in daylight, and lighting decides what that face looks like. Done well, architectural lighting emphasizes the shapes you love, such as the gables, the columns, the chimney and the entry, and lets the rest fall into shadow.
We provide architectural lighting for homes in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee. We study the facade by day, then test and aim fixtures after dark to pick out the materials and forms that deserve attention, with shielded fixtures that keep glare off the windows and out of the neighbors' eyes.
Four things done right.
Light the shapes you love
Fixtures are aimed at features, not at the whole wall.
Right angle, right texture
Close grazing brings out texture, and distance gives even wash.
Hidden sources
People see the glow on the house, not the fixture.
Glare controlled
Shields and careful aim keep light out of windows and eyes.
From first call to architectural lighting.
- 01
Study the facade
We look at the house in daylight and at dusk and choose the features worth lighting.
- 02
Test with fixtures
After dark we try fixtures and angles on the house.
- 03
Install and hide
Fixtures and wire are installed and hidden in beds and under eaves.
- 04
Aim and balance
We aim and dim each fixture until the whole house is balanced.

Architectural Lighting: common questions
Won't lighting my house look like a spotlight on a building?
Not when it is done well. Careful aim, low brightness, warm color and shadow keep it elegant and natural. A night demonstration shows the effect before you commit.
Can you light brick and stone?
Yes. Grazing and gentle washing bring out the texture of brick, limestone and stone, and we adjust the angle for each material.
How do I get a price for architectural lighting?
Fill in the form or call or text 615-431-3789. We confirm what is involved and send a written price, and most projects start with a free visit.
Ready to talk about architectural lighting?
A visit at dusk and a written price. A real person calls back, usually the same day.
