The overview

What it is, and why it matters.

Older landscape lighting used halogen or incandescent lamps that burn hot, burn out and use a lot of power. LED lamps use a fraction of the electricity, last much longer and keep their color. The same transformer can usually power more fixtures, or you can retire a large old transformer for a smaller, newer one.

We convert landscape lighting to LED for homes in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee. We test the existing fixtures and decide which can take LED lamps and which are better replaced, choose a color temperature that matches the look you want and check that the transformer and wire suit the new load.

Why owners choose it

Four things done right.

Much less energy

LED lamps use a fraction of old halogen power.

Much longer life

Fewer burned-out lamps to replace.

Better color

Warm, consistent light that suits plants and stone.

Room to expand

Lower load means room for more fixtures on the same transformer.

Good questions

LED Conversions: common questions

Can all my fixtures take LEDs?

Many can. Some old fixtures are better replaced, because of corrosion, poor sealing or the wrong socket. We test and tell you which.

Will LED lights match the color of my old ones?

LED lamps come in many color temperatures. We choose one that matches or improves on your current look.

  • A night demonstration on your own trees and walls, so you see the real brightness and color before you decide
  • A written plan and price with the fixtures, the controls, the wiring and the cleanup spelled out
