The overview

What it is, and why it matters.

Moving water catches light in a way nothing else does. A fountain lit from below sparkles, and a small waterfall lit from the side glows. Without light, the water simply vanishes at night, along with the sound and the shape that make it worth having.

We light fountains and water features for homes in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee. We use submersible fixtures where the water is deep enough, above-water lights where it is not and fixtures that skim, spot or wash, all connected with waterproof connections and placed so the lamp itself stays out of sight.

Why owners choose it

Four things done right.

Sparkle and motion

Lit moving water glitters and draws the eye.

Hidden lamps

Fixtures sit below the surface or behind stones.

Waterproof by design

Waterproof connections and sealed fixtures last.

Clean look

Algae and mineral buildup are planned for with easy access.

Good questions

Water Feature Lighting: common questions

Can fountains be lit safely?

Yes. Low-voltage fixtures made for water, with waterproof connections, are safe and common.

Will lights make algae worse?

Light can encourage algae in ponds with a lot of nutrients. We plan the lighting schedule and fixture placement to keep it manageable.
