Make your biggest trees the stars of the night.
Fixtures aimed up from the base of trunks and into the canopy, bringing out bark, branches and leaves and giving the yard height, depth and drama.
- Fixtures: Bronze or brass LED uplights, narrow to wide beams
- Placement: Near the trunk, aimed up the bark and into the canopy
- Color: Warm white to bring out bark and leaves

What it is, and why it matters.
Mature trees are the most valuable thing in many Middle Tennessee yards, and in the dark they simply vanish. Uplighting changes that. A warm light at the base of an oak or maple picks out the bark, climbs the trunk and fills the canopy with glowing leaves, so the tree becomes a living sculpture and the whole yard gains scale.
We install tree uplighting for homes in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee. We choose the fixtures by the size and shape of each tree, set them at the right distance from the trunk, aim them up the bark and into the canopy and adjust for the seasons, because a tree that is leafy in June looks different in January.
Four things done right.
Right beam for the tree
Narrow beams for tall, slim trees, wide beams for broad canopies.
Two fixtures beat one
Opposite sides of a large trunk give even light and avoid a flat look.
Seasonal adjustments
Fixtures can be re-aimed as leaves come and go.
Hidden, safe fixtures
Fixtures sit low, out of mowers' way, and wire is buried.

Tree Uplighting: common questions
Will uplighting hurt my trees?
Low-voltage LED fixtures give off very little heat and, installed with care, are not a problem for trees. We keep fixtures a safe distance from trunks and avoid tight straps.
Do I need to adjust the lights as the trees grow?
Occasionally. Branches and trunks grow, so a yearly check keeps the aim right. A maintenance plan can include it.
