The overview

What it is, and why it matters.

Path lighting is the part of landscape lighting everyone uses. It shows you where to walk, makes steps and edges visible and adds a gentle glow along the ground. Good path lighting is spaced so the pools of light overlap and shielded so you see the path, not the bulb.

We install pathway lighting for homes in Nashville and across Middle Tennessee, on front walks, side paths, garden trails and around patios. We choose fixtures that fit the style of the house, set the spacing to the beam, hide the wire and avoid the airport-runway look of lights in a straight line.

Why owners choose it

Four things done right.

Overlapping pools

Even light along the whole path, without dark gaps or hot spots.

Not a runway

Staggered, natural spacing looks better than a straight line.

Glare controlled

Shielded fixtures show the path and hide the lamp.

Built to last

Solid metal fixtures stand up to mowers, weather and years.

Good questions

Pathway Lighting: common questions

How far apart should path lights be?

It depends on the fixture, but often 6 to 10 feet, staggered along the sides of the path. We check the overlap at night.

Do path lights need to be tall?

Not usually. Low profile fixtures keep light near the ground and glare out of your eyes. The right height depends on the plantings.

How do I get a price for pathway lighting?

Fill in the form or call or text 615-431-3789. We confirm what is involved and send a written price, and most projects start with a free visit.

Ready to talk about pathway lighting?

Let's light up your night.

Tell us about the house, the trees, the walk or the patio you would love to see after dark. A real person reads every message and gets back to you with straight answers and a written estimate.

  • A visit near dusk first: we walk the property, see where you use it and decide what deserves light and what should stay dark
  • A night demonstration on your own trees and walls, so you see the real brightness and color before you decide
  • A written plan and price with the fixtures, the controls, the wiring and the cleanup spelled out
